As a visual artist I am actively collaborating with a variety of clients to create meaningful work through filmmaking and photography. From personal occasions to public facing projects, every story is a chance to be seen, shared, and documented.
The preservation of experience is an important piece of identity. I associate my memories with what I can create out in the field. How does my interaction with a space shape my perspective? Will my vision resinate with others in such a way? These are the questions that influence how I see the world.

Zack Carroll is a visual artist based in Connecticut. He studied foundations, film processing and darkroom printing at Manchester Community College prior to receiving a BFA in photography from the Hartford Art School in 2018.
The work he creates is meditative in nature; aiming to bring order to a chaotic environment. In continuation of challenging the photographic plane, Zack often questions the dialectic boundaries between the positive and negative, the internal and external, the real and the imagined.

What on erth is going on?, we see Zack’s world through five photographs. Together, they trace the lines most people walk past, the overwhelming scale of the natural world, the closing of a family business, the patterns you begin to see once you decide to look for them, and a simple reminder that sometimes what matters most. I invited Zack because of how he sees. I’ve always admired his work, and he’s been a steady source of insight, knowledge, and perspective for me over the years.”
